Hi, I'm Beata

Product engineer with a strong backend core. I build systems in Kotlin and Spring, including event-driven architectures with Kafka, and take features from the first idea all the way to production.

Recently focused on product-oriented engineering and AI-assisted tooling: from multi-tenancy and fine-grained authorization to internal tools that make the whole team faster.

  • Led the design of an RBAC system based on OpenFGA, with fine-grained authorization across the platform
  • Contributed to an agentic coding approach: internal tooling and a company-wide marketplace for AI-assisted workflows
  • Expanded towards full-stack, delivering features end to end across backend and frontend
  • Designed event-driven integrations between microservices using Apache Kafka
  • Built internal tools (Slack apps, a Kafka library, a file importer) and HR automation services
